Brighter Revealed: A Traveling Public Art Installation

BRIGHTER REVEALED will share the light of Hanukkah with the Boston community in an illuminated mobile art display coming to your neighborhood. Incorporating artwork created by students and community partners throughout the Greater Boston area, this large scale beacon will bring vibrant color to the community.

The celebration of Hanukkah centers around sharing the miracle of light amidst darkness and the triumph of freedom prevailing over persecution. By bringing communities together to create art and by publicly showcasing their collaborative work, we hope to not only highlight the past miracle of Hanukkah, but also to reveal and acknowledge the present day miracles, inspiration, and collective strength found in our Boston community. This is the next phase of a series of Brighter installations created for the JArts Hanukkah: The Festival of Lights celebration at the MFA by artist Tova Speter. Expanding our audience of makers and viewers each year, Brighter Revealed will continue to increase access by bringing the art to the streets, literally. The art display will share the glow with all as it reveals the inner strength and bright spirit contained within our community.
